Three days. Better content. Bigger deals. Bigger life.
A 3-day retreat for your personal brand, hosted in London
11th - 13th September
11th - 13th September
Your dreams are going stale and you're blaming your content
by Kira Matthews You're making content. Good(ish) content, actually. You show up, you film, you post, and people seem to like you, in a “yeah, I kinda know what that person does for work” kinda way.
But brands? That's a different conversation. One you keep putting off because somewhere between your posting schedule and your pitch drafts, the two things have never quite met.
You've got a notes app full of companies you'd love to work with. A few cold emails sat lonely in your drafts. A canva deck you started and then quietly closed because your imposter syndrome won’t let you show it to anyone.
Your business plan says that brand partnerships are in the cards, but right now you're more estranged from that dream than an old divorced couple.
Here’s the thing…After teaching more than 30 founders how to pitch brands and land partnerships, I know for certain that you can't fix your partnerships without fixing your content. And you can't fix your content without knowing what it's supposed to be doing for you.
This event is for the founder loves making content (sometimes)
For the founder posting while secretly wondering if anyone with a budget is watching
For the founder who thinks they can't work with brands because they only like three companies in the entire world and they've already worked with two of them
For the founder still waiting to hit that golden follower count that will magically open doors
Rumour has it they're still waiting
Pitch Yourself Out There was built for that version of you that wants more.
The one who needs permission as much as they need a strategy.
The one who wants to stop improvising their content and start building workflows that actually work around their life.
The one who’s one conversation, one framework, one room away from everything clicking into place.
Because when your content is working and your partnerships are landing, money stops feeling like something you're chasing and starts feeling like something you've made room for.
Arrive with imposter syndrome. Leave with batched content, a plan for your next partnership, and five new friends who’ll end up at your next birthday.
“I’m working with atomicon, sister land and adobe!
this course opened so many doors and paid for itself”
Hannah Isted, Author & marketing strategist who worked with Kira in Pitch School
“i've landed 5 figure contracts and a paid collab with figma”
Amber Shand, Founder of She Bytes Back, who worked with Kira in Pitch School

24th June 12pm BST
why this event exists
The girl from Walthamstow who couldn’t imagine life after 25
I grew up in a council flat in East London sharing a room with my siblings, watching my family work incredibly hard with very little to show for it.
The idea that a business could pay my rent felt completely alien to me. Speaking on stages? Being featured in Forbes? None of that felt available to someone like me.
I left home at 17 and swore I’d never come back. But, pitch by pitch, I one day looked up and realised I was living the life on my vision board. Since I launched my business in 2020, I’ve landed paid partnerships with Squarespace, Ganni, Adidas, Papier, On Running and so, so many more.
This event is happening in Leyton. In a small venue. On purpose. Because the version of me that grew up 20 minutes down the road needed to see that this version of her was possible. And so do you, because where you come from doesn’t have to define where you’re going
I’ve spent years testing, plotting, trial-and-erroring, trying to figure out what works to create unmissable content and land brand partnerships. For the first time ever, I’ll be teaching it live over 3 jam-packed days.
what to expect at pitch yourself out there
Bring your laptop because we’ll be building in the room. An ideas lab for your personal brand.
You’ll leave with:
A content strategy planned
Limiting beliefs surrendered in real time
The strategy to pitch brands, sponsors, and clients with the cheeky audacity that helps you stand out in a crowded inbox
01 — Audacity training + Inner critic therapy
(obvs not real therapy, no chaise lounge included)
You don’t get what you want; you get what your subconscious can handle. Time and time again I’ve seen my clients claim they want growth and visibility but struggle to overcome the inner roadblocks that make the vision so damn hard to reach. I’ll get my whiteboard out and teach you the frameworks for reframing visibility, pitching without apologising, and building the kind of confidence that gets you results (and a few thousand followers too)
02 — Content! Cracked! Crafted! LIVE
Imma hold your hand…your approach to your content isn’t working. Your videos take too long to edit, socials sit at the bottom of your to-do list, and even when you do get around to it, your posts only get 12 likes.
Get live feedback on your content and personal brand, learn how to edit from some of the best in the business, and finally figure out how to entertain your audience instead of boring them to tears with “your 5 tips to improve your life!” (And if you’re nice to me, I’ll show you a behind-the-scenes look at how I grew my audience by 525% just by having fun)
03 — Brand partnership playbook
My clients have worked with Manychat, Tally, Glassdoor, Atomicon, Sisterland, Squarespace and more. Whether you’re convinced that you’re not cool enough to work with brands, or if you’re currently in brand conversations that have gone dry and distant, you’ll get the playbook taught live. I’m doing a lil dance right now because I know your inbox needs this.
taught live for the first time ever!
04 — Panels and workshops with industry leaders
LinkedIn influencers who light up your feed, founders who sell in the thousands through carousels and skits, creator transparency from those managing brand budgets for global retailers. Real conversations. Small sessions. Drinks. And a goodie bag filled with treats.
05 — find your people
When I first started my business, the people around me had a lot of (bad) things to say about my content. You might not realise it, but the self-consciousness of being in the wrong environment eats away at your creativity, forcing you to hide when you should be taking up space and claiming the business of your dreams. Over 3 days, you’ll get the chance to build genuine relationships that will last beyond September 13th. You’ll hold hands, share feedback and breathe a sigh of relief because you’ve finally found a room of ambitious founders who get it

Friday
Session One: Audacity Training with Kira Matthews
You don’t get what you want, you get what your subconscious can handle. Time and time again I’ve seen my clients struggle with wanting growth and visibility but struggling to overcome the inner critic that shits on everything you write, the nervous system that reads being seen as danger, and the imposter syndrome that makes your vision feel so damn hard to reach. I’ll get my whiteboard out and walk you through the frameworks for reframing visibility, pitching without apologising, and building the kind of confidence that gets you results (I’m talking a few thousand followers, brand deals, speaker invites and more)
Ticket: All Access exclusive
Time: 10 am - 11 am
Friday
Session two: The year your socials explode with Kira Matthews
I grew my audience from 4k followers to 26k and documented the entire process for your learning pleasure. In this session, I’ll reveal the shifts and practical tools that transformed my relationship to audience growth, whilst having fun in the process. I’m going to simplify how you read your content insights, help you identify the content best suited to your business, and help you turn those insights into content that will compound in growth.
Whether your socials feel like you’re standing on stage with your pants down, or you’re on an Arsenal-shaped winning streak, this session will show you what to post (and why) and when to post it
Ticket: All Access exclusive
Time: 11:30 - 12pm
Lunch
Friday
Group co-working and implementation session led by Kira Matthews
Coming back together after lunch, we’ll ease into the session with group reflections and a few playful minutes for show-and-tell. These daily co-working slots are your time to apply what you’ve learned and get real-time feedback from Kira and the group.
Then the time is yours to work how you work best. Use the prompts and worksheets provided to guide your work, take time to think deeply about the concepts shared in previous sessions, or just throw on your headphones and crack on.
Bring your laptop (and charger), a device to make content with, or your favourite notebook.
Ticket: All Access exclusive

Friday
Remix your carousel personality
You don’t need me to tell you that Carousels are having a moment, but if you’re still approaching them like it's 2020, you’re probably getting ignored as your audience scrolls by.
You don’t need to write like me; we need to find more of you, so we can hear the sound of your humour, insights and wit. In this session, we’ll use practical frameworks and live writing exercises to help you find your content voice, create recurring formats your audience will recognise in the feed and love, and write carousels that feel like you on your best day. Think less content strategy, more creative writing workshop, exploring themes in groups, with lots of laughs along the way. Leave with your personality on the page.
Ticket: All Access Exclusive
2:35 pm - 4 pm
Break
At 4pm, the day session wraps and the room transforms. We’ll clear the laptops, rearrange the space, and welcome in the wider community for tonight’s panel. For you, this is a moment to decompress, get some air, and maybe swap details with the people you’ve been in the trenches with all day. Head to the local park, grab a coffee, or stay and soak up the atmosphere as the room fills up.
Friday
Panel one: The new influencers: Linkedin and Substack
It’s so easy to think that brand partnerships are limited to Gen-Z TikTokers with one million followers and Kardashian-like style. This panel has been designed to expand your understanding of how brand and creator partnerships can be leveraged in unique and personal ways to support your business. B2B creators, thought leaders, and women in SPAM* (women in social, PR, advertising and marketing) are landing five figure partnerships with their favourite apps. SubStack writers are securing talent managers and securing speaking gigs. The way society thinks about sponsored content is changing, and this panel will be an insight into what it’s like on the leading edge.

Session one: Filming, editing, storyboarding for Steven Bartlett with Jemima Carr-Jones
In this session, Jemima breaks down exactly what separates content that gets seen from content that gets scrolled past — and hands you the filming, editing and storyboarding workflows the biggest brands use, so you can run them yourself without a team or a studio.
You’ll develop the systems that run in the background of some of the most prolific personal brands on the internet right now
Ticket: All Access exclusive
Time: 10 am - 11 am
Meet Jemima Jemima is one of the UK’s go-to experts for content strategy and personal brand building - the person founders and household names call when they need their content to actually convert, not just look good.
She cut her teeth inside Steven Bartlett’s personal team as a Content and Marketing Executive, shaping strategy and scripts behind some of the biggest personal brand content in the game. Since then, she’s built Loved Studios, delivering content - strategy, filming, editing and photography - for names including Stylist Magazine, The Cirkel, eBay, Formula 1, the BBC, 10 Downing Street, The Savoy, and The Shard.
Saturday
Session two: Steal, Swap, Share. The Science of Ideas That Actually Stick with Thierry Ngutegure
You’ve had the idea. Maybe for months. It sits in your head, half-formed, feeling fragile, too early to share, too precious to let anyone poke at. That instinct to protect it is exactly what’s killing it.
In Steal, Swap, Share, Thierry pulls from behavioural science, psychology, and years of building products and brands to show you why some ideas survive for centuries while most don’t make it past Monday. You’ll learn why proverbs outlast business plans, what makes an idea “sticky,” and how cross-pollinating concepts from completely unrelated worlds is where the best thinking actually happens. Watch what happens when you stop guarding and start building.
Ticket: All Access exclusive
Time: 11:30 am - 12 pm
Meet ThierryThierry Ngutegure is a serial entrepreneur and the co-founder of Six Chillies, a creative data agency that helps brands turn overwhelming data into stories worth sharing. With a background in biological sciences and psychology, and over a decade spent working at the intersection of data, storytelling, and marketing, Thierry brings a rare mix of scientific rigour and creative instinct to how ideas are built. He’s worked with teams across digital PR, e-commerce, and finance, not handing over spreadsheets but shaping the stories that make data actually land. When he’s not translating numbers into stories, he’s probably building his next product, or convincing you to share the idea you’ve been hiding.

Session four: The warm-up content plan
Otherwise known as the ‘Launch Queen, ’ Kelsey cut her teeth on what it takes to run a successful campaign while working behind the scenes on global music festivals and multi-country concert tours: building hype, selling tickets, and creating moments that stop people mid-scroll, because they want to be part of it. Kelsey applied that same approach to launching her design studio and since has pivoted to teaching creatives and creators how to turn their offers into campaigns so they can create consistent sales. Oh, and did I forget to say that she just celebrated her first £100k launch? Small detail. Big Lessons.

You wanna host a sponsored dinner club with ambitious founders in Newcastle, you wanna launch a retreat in Cyprus with the help of your favourite brand. You’ve seen Tom, Dick and old Harry get their community sessions sponsored; you just have no idea how the hell it all works. In this session, you’ll learn what brands are looking for when it comes to working with creators and a page-by-page debrief on what to include in your pitch deck. I’ll show you the emails that opened doors to successful partnerships with Papier, Squarespace and Ganni and templates so easy to use you’ll have those emails scheduled before the end of the day

Session two: The Creator Playbook with Emily Thornton, ex-Influencer manager at Boots
Drawing on 12 years in brand marketing, including leading influencer marketing at Boots, I’ll share an inside look at how brands evaluate and report on talent, how decisions are made and what actually gets a creator noticed. We will explore how to develop ideas that strengthen your personal brand, why the right brands will celebrate this and how to make yourself more commercially attractive.
I’ll also break down a tried and tested framework for pitching to brands and increasing your chances of a response. The session will finish with a Q&A, giving you a chance to ask questions, unpack industry friction points and get clarity on how to navigate brand partnerships with more confidence and direction. I’m your BIGGEST advocate!
Ticket: All Access exclusive
11:10 am - 12pm
Meet EmilyPrevious Boots Influencer Manager. 12 years’ experience in brand marketing and building brand narratives. I spent over a decade in brand marketing, including leading the influencer team at Boots, where I managed decisions across hundreds of partnerships and helped shape how campaigns were built and measured internally. After stepping away and speaking directly and candidly with creators, I saw how different that process can feel from the outside. My work focuses on bringing both sides of the industry closer together.
I help creators develop personal branding beyond content, likes, or follower count, so they can build stronger, more consistent brand partnerships over time. I also bring a brand-side perspective into the process, sharing how decisions are made, what brands look for, and how creators can position themselves more effectively. What sets this apart is acting as an advocate for both sides, combining brand experience with a deep understanding of the creator world to bridge a gap that is still very real

I’m trained as a low intensity therapist and just started a new role as Head of wellbeing and staff engagement within an NHS Trust. I’m state school educated and still live on the council estate I grew up on, I now earn nearly triple the salary my mum earned and I believe this to be possible for everyone if they are able to envision themselves where they want to be and strategically carve a path where each steps brings them closer to their destination. I would say my strengths are problem solving, confidence building and finding a way which replaces those “I can’t thoughts”.
